Celebrating Innovation and Sustainability
On Friday, 14th November, 2025, I had the honour of representing the Acting Director-General of the Ghana Education Service, Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, at the 2025 School Farm Project Awards Ceremony organised by the Kosmos Innovation Centre (KIC) at KNUST, Kumasi.
As the Acting Deputy Director-General in charge of Quality and Access at the Ghana Education Service, it was inspiring to witness students and teachers demonstrate creative, practical, and sustainable approaches to agriculture. Their passion and innovation reaffirm the vital role young people play in shaping the future of Ghana’s food systems.
A special commendation to the Kosmos Innovation Centre for its continued partnership with GES in advancing agricultural education and promoting youth entrepreneurship.
The future of Ghana’s food security is truly in capable hands. Congratulations to all award winners; keep growing, keep learning, and keep leading the way!
Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, Ag. Deputy Director General for Quality and Access, GES.
